Six subjects mandatory for 10th: CBSE

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made six subjects mandatory for class 10 from the upcoming session. This change has been done for schools where subject of Business course is included in the syllabus. CBSE has changed the marking pattern and under this pattern students of class 10 has to read all six subjects instead of five. Till now Social Science, Math, Science were compulsory along with other two subjects of language. Students were also able to select any business topic as an optional subject. But, from the coming session, it will be compulsory to choose the optional subject along with other main 
subjects.
