Prof.Manoj Srivastava is the son of a teacher. He was born on 30 December, 1968 in Jaipur. Along with studies Prof. Manoj was good at other activities too. He achieved 26 batches in scouting, was honored by the President award, was a swimming champion, won prizes and medals in extracurricular activities, and commended flight Sergeant in NCC in his early school days.
After MBA Tourism, he took a step forward in the field of Hotel Management and worked with the Taj Group of Hotels and Australian Buckles to create his own identity by providing services for ten years in Research Work. Unsatisfied with the work Prof.Manoj Srivastava set out for setting World Records.
After one year of research in the field of food he created the first world record in year 2008, He made one of the largest and heaviest 180 kilograms & 12 feet diameter Indian bread of the world.
Honored from World Records University Honorary Degree of the Doctorate
After making 7 consecutive world records, World Records University, United Kingdom, England recognized his efforts and awarded him with the honorary title of Doctorate. Till date only 13 extraordinary people have been awarded with this title by the UK government.
Prof.Manoj Srivastava has always given the credit of all his achievements to the people behind him, his mentors, his family, students and friends who always encouraged him. He mentioned that behind the last three world records in Manipal University, constant inspiration of Dr. Sandeep Sancheti, President MUJ and all the authorities of Manipal group are the source of inspiration for him.
