IIT: No changes in the Admission fees

There will be no changes in admission fee of any of the 31 IITs present in India in this session. It is decided that a wellness center and Induction program will be soon started in the IITs seeing the suicidal cases and the increasing tension among the students. The most important thing that has been decided by the IIT Council is that the seats for girls will be increased to 20% from 8%. HRD Minister Jawadekar discussed on seven different issues. A very big decision was to finish the subsidy in the fees of B.Tech which was increased from 90 thousand to 2 lakh. It was also discussed that, there are counsellers in the IIT Campuses but they don’t come forward due to shy. To encourage girl child we have to work on different angles.
