TMU Alumnus Shadab Soars High

An Alumni Meet was organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad. The occasion was graced by more than 155 alumni ranging across various batches from 2012 onwards. A total of 12 alumni shared their valuable experiences from college life to the job or self-employed journey. Alumni joined the meet through both offline and online modes. The alumni who participated in the meet were from different parts of the country including UP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Haryana. The inaugural session was followed by a cultural programme for our students and games for alumni members. This was followed by the certificate distribution and Award Ceremony. The Meet ended with a promise to meet again and everyone bid an emotional farewell to each other and the institute. The anchoring was done by Neha Anand and Dr Asim Ahmad.

Shadab Lohaar shared his journey from his start after passing out from TMU. He is currently running his Lohaar group with a 100cr turnover. He offered everyone to join his group. He felt proud to remain a part of the Faculty of Engineering, TMU. He recalled his memory related to TMU. Alumnus Mr Prafull Sharma, who is working as CEO and Co-Founder of Mieux.ai, Paris had his views online. He felt nostalgic while sharing his memories with TMU. He gave the mantra of life i.e., always be prepared for the next in advance. Nitin Joshi, Managing Director of UltraTech Cement, shared his experience with great enthusiasm. He also shared his career journey in detail and motivated the students to always remain in attempting mode whatever the situation is. Nimisha Jain working in Infosys shared her TMU journey and appreciated TMU for its best facilities and faculty members providing to the students for their holistic development. Ekalavya and Anurag also shared their experience with TMU as well as in the outside world while doing jobs and felt proud to be a part of the Faculty of Engineering, at TMU.

The Alumni Meet was inaugurated traditionally with the lighting of a lamp before the idol of Goddess Maa Saraswati by the Chief Guest Suresh Jain Chancellor TMU and Jai Pal Singh Vyast Ji, MLC, U.P. along with the other officials of the University- Prof. Raghuvir Singh, Vice Chancellor, Dr Aditya Sharma, Registrar, Dr Manjula Jain, Associate Dean Academics, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi,  Director and Principal, Faculty of Engineering and Computing Sciences-FOECS, Prof.Nikhil Rastogi, Joint Registrar-Alumni cell, in the presence of all HODs, faculty and staff members of TMU family which was followed by the recital welcome song. 

Speaking on the occasion, Chancellor Suresh Jain motivated the alumni with his mesmerizing speech. He interacted with the alumni and listened to their experiences of all of them with great enthusiasm. He made the alumni feel proud by interacting with them and taking a group photograph with each one in the session-wise batch. 

Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Principal, Faculty of Engineering underlined and praised the achievements of alumni of the institute in all spheres of life. He felt that it was a matter of great pride for the institute that its Alumni are holding positions of responsibility in various Government organizations, PSUs, the Private sector, and Academic Institutions in India as well as abroad. Many of them are successful entrepreneurs providing jobs to others as well. He praised their contribution to the growth of their Alma Mater and emphasized the need for further strengthening the linkage between the Alumni and the Institute.
