KIET Deemed-to-be University conferred degrees upon 3,821 graduating students of the 2025 and 2026 batches of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, during its Annual Convocation 2026 held at the university campus.
 The ceremony began with the academic procession, AKTU Kulgeet, and a welcome address by Dr. Adesh Kumar Pandey, Director Academics. The event was attended by Shri Atul Garg, Chancellor of KIET University and Member of Parliament from Ghaziabad, Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Manoj Goel, Pro Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Virendra Pathak, Director, IET Lucknow, representing the Vice Chancellor of AKTU, along with members of the Governing Board.
 Presenting the university’s annual report, Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao highlighted KIET’s transformation into a multidisciplinary deemed-to-be university with a strong focus on academic excellence, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and global engagement. He noted that degrees were awarded in B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, and M.Tech programmes.
  Prof. Ramrao said KIET has strengthened industry-oriented education through more than 10  Centres of Excellence and collaborations with organisations including IBM, L&T, SAP, and EY India. He also shared that the university hosted 12 international interns from six countries over the past two years.
 Highlighting research achievements, he said KIET faculty published 1,356 research papers during the last two years. Seven faculty members received the C.V. Raman Award, while 12 were honoured with the Young Dronacharya Award.
 The Vice Chancellor also announced impressive placement achievements, including the university’s highest international package of ₹1.78 crore. The graduating batches secured 4,600 job offers from over 350 companies, including Microsoft, Deloitte, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra. He also highlighted the contribution of Technology Business Incubator (TBI-KIET) in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
 Gold, silver, and bronze medalists received cash awards of ₹50,000, ₹40,000, and ₹30,000, respectively, while university rank holders were awarded ₹20,000.
 Delivering the Convocation Address, Prof. Virendra Pathak urged graduates to uphold honesty, integrity, and lifelong learning. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Vineet Sharma, Dean, CSE, celebrating the achievements of the graduates and reaffirming KIET University’s commitment to nurturing industry-ready professionals and responsible citizens.
