Union Minister Chirag Paswan addressed the GIMS ‘MERAKI–2026’ orientation program

GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), Greater Noida, organized its “MERAKI–2026” Orientation Programme for the newly admitted PGDM 2026–28 batch at the India Expo Centre.
 The programme was graced by Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Shri Chirag Paswan, as the Chief Guest. Presided over by Dr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Chairman, GNIOT Group of Institutions, the event witnessed the participation of over 450 students from 23 states, their parents, and senior executives from more than 40 leading national and multinational companies.
  Addressing the gathering, Chirag Paswan encouraged students to focus on education, skill development, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that hard work, integrity, and continuous learning are the keys to success and urged students to become job creators rather than job seekers. He also appreciated GIMS for its achievements in quality education, industry-academia collaboration, research, innovation, and placements.
 Chairman Dr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta highlighted GNIOT’s 25-year commitment to quality education and leadership development. CEO Mr. Swadesh Kumar Singh and Director Dr. Bhupendra Kumar Som outlined the institute’s focus on industry-oriented learning, artificial intelligence, global exposure, internships, and placements.
  The programme also featured inspiring sessions by industry leaders from Adani Enterprise Global Capability Centre, PwC, People Group, and Accenture, along with motivational speaker Sonu Sharma. A special performance by comedian Inder Sahani added enthusiasm and entertainment to the event.
 The orientation introduced students and parents to GIMS’s academic ecosystem, international collaborations, innovation initiatives, and career opportunities, marking an inspiring beginning to the new academic session.
